Biography

Brent Rippentrop <http://flavors.me/brentrippentrop> is the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for RSC Equipment, one of the largest equipment rental companies in the nation. Brent Rippentrop joined the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company in February of 2010, after a long and successful tenure with Deere & Company.

Rippentrop came to Deere & Company as an intern in the summer of 1979. He was a year shy of earning his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business and Accounting from Iowa State University and was interning in the company's accounting department. After graduation, Deere & Company hired Brent Rippentrop as an internal auditor. It was the first of several positions he would assume with the company in a career spanning 29 years.

By the early 90s, Brent Rippentrop <http://angel.co/brent-rippentrop> had worked his way up to become the Manager of Finance for Deere & Company. In this role, he was responsible for creating funding strategies for the company and was soon promoted to Manager of Business Development. In 1997, he became the Director of Market Development for Sunstate Equipment Co., a rental company based in Arizona. Deere & Company had a minor investment in Sunstate Equipment. In the six years Brent Rippentrop worked there, his primary duty was to oversee the opening of new stores. During his tenure with the company, Sunstate quadrupled its revenue and opened 30 new stores.

Outside of work, Rippentrop is actively involved in the charitable organizations United Way <http://www.unitedway.org/> and St. Boniface Catholic Church. He also enjoys playing golf and watching his son compete in competitive swimming races.
